Holds a specialization in tax law and tax planning, with extensive experience in the fiscal area, particularly in organizational environments supporting the integration between legal and tax functions and business operations. Throughout his career, he has worked at leading law firms advising multinational and domestic companies on matters related to direct and indirect taxes, foreign trade and customs (imports, exports, customs clearance and tax classification), foreign investment in Brazil, tax and corporate planning, tax compliance policies, tax credit recovery and tax burden optimization, with specialized practice in tax litigation, both at the judicial and administrative levels.
Graduate of Universidade Gama Filho (1995–1998). Specialized in Economic and Business Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas – FGV-RJ (2002), Tax Procedure Law from Universidade Cândido Mendes – UCAM, and Tax Law from the Pontifical Catholic University – PUC/RJ (2011). He practiced at the law firms Doria, Jacobina e Gondinho Advogados and, most recently, Motta Fernandes Advogados (2006–2020).
